I create my prints by carving a design into a block of linoleum; the
resulting image is inked up using a roller and then transferred onto
paper by hand burnishing.
Depending on the complexity of the design a
print can take days or sometimes weeks to produce, and because each
linocut is an original artwork there may be subtle differences between
one print and the next.
I produce my linocuts in small limited
editions and when each edition is complete the printing block is
destroyed so that no more can be made.
Each print has the edition number, title and my signature written along the lower edge.
